Testimonial from Сustomer

Dr. F. B. – Head of Business Unit:
Mr. S. has managed a very time-critical, technologically complex and difficult project to our complete satisfaction for us. He has been especially adjusted to the cultural diversity of the project group and the initially very inhomogeneous group successfully merged to a real ream. He has thus significantly contributed to project success.
Mr. S. is an implementation-oriented project manager and we will gladly engage him any time again in organizing complex projects.

Situation (Challenge)

A new customer for a new range of products requested to have the production of his parts in the Philippines as his production site was there as well. That´s why (confidential – only one request) had decided to integrate the process into an existing site. First audit by the customer had not been passed for several reasons. Request was to manage the transfer of the technology and get the production set up and running for upcoming audit by the customer, as well as his customer.
The customer was a Japanese company, that´s why the sales team within the project was Japanese as well. One of the key challenges was to get Japanese expectations and thinking in correlation with French attitude of working.

Solution (Achievement)

With the local operations team we first set a detailed plan what needs to be completed by when in order to pass the next audit, which was mandatory for the audit by the final customer.
Based on this plan and the findings from the first audit I formed a core team within the project with members from process development in France, the business unit managers in Germany, the sales team from Japan and the Philippines members. Preparation for the two key audits and installing the equipment for four production lines went in parallel.
Audit had been passed in December 2008, production running smoothly in February 2009 – site prepared for further extension of production.
