The client is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of cosmetic and hygiene products with headquarter in Zug (Switzerland). They do market research, identify trends, develop new products and innovations, produce and commercialize taylor made products for brands and private labels. Their clients are brand holders, drugstores and big international distribution chains like DM Drugstore, A.S. WATSON Group, TESCO, MICROS, CARREFOUR. Their key markets are Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, UK and Belgium.

Situation (Challenge)

In 2010 they merged with their German key competitor Hyga Gmbh. The potential for new business development in their high competitive key markets was limited. In 2004 they have tried to expand to France but without success due to the dominant market presence of local manufacturer and suppliers. In 2011 they decided for a new expansion and market development in France.

Solution (Achievement)

T.R. was entitled for the expansion to France. T.R. built up new business and distribution structures in France, defined and develop the relationship to important decision makers and laboratories, represented the company at trade fairs and road shows as well as created and implemented market specific marketing tools. T.R. acquired the most important French drugstores and distribution chains, participated at tenders and lead the negotiations. Within 12 months Intigena AG was key supplier of the market leaders CARREFOUR, CASINO, MONOPRIX

and SYSTEME-U. Today is Intigena AG the Nr. 2 in the French Markets.
