► About the Customer
The client is a globally leading medical device company based in Switzerland. Its products (ECG, Defibrillators and others) are available worldwide through representatives in more than 100 countries. The company has subsidiaries providing exclusive services in 25 countries. The client is private owned (established 40 years ago in Baar, by recent CEO) and employs around 1,000 staff at several locations around the world.

► Situation (Challenge)
The client planned to improve the quality assurance / quality management departments and had two important certification audits (ISO13485 and ISO14001). Thus, our client required a professional and experienced Quality Management expert for 6 months, targeting to improve the processes and the personnel of the new department. The preparations and coordination for both audits have been the other important task

► Solution (Achievement)
Dr. H.B. started by hiring and training two new people (one engineer and one manager) and optimized some important processes like CAPA Management, internal Auditing.
The precise preparations and excellent coordination through all departments of the company led to certification audits (ISO13485 by TüV and ISO14001 by BV) which could be closed successfully
Furthermore, he has been able to help quality managers of other sites (USA and Austria) as well.
